What it tells you

Rarity, in real numbers

A population report shows how many copies of a card DSG has graded and how those copies score. A card with three Gem Mint 10s in the census is a different animal from one with three hundred — and the pop report is where that difference shows up first.

Pop counts by grade

Every column is a live tally: how many 10s, how many 9.5s, all the way down the scale, plus Art Card and Authentic holders.

Scarcity at a glance

A low pop at high grades signals a tough card. Check the census before you buy, sell, or crack a slab to regrade.

Straight from the database

Counts come from the same system every DSG card is registered in at encapsulation, so the report updates as new cards finish grading.

Search tips

Every field matches from the start of each word, so partial entries work: Jord finds Jordan and Chr finds Chrome. Combine fields to zero in — a year plus a set name usually lands within a few card groups.

Power operators from the grading database work here too. Type =111 to match card number 111 exactly, or 1996...1999 to cover a whole range of years. Ranges work on any field.
