Welcome to the first iteration of Diamond Service Grading’s “Top Ten Cards Of The Month”. This will be a monthly blog exploring 10 of rarest, coolest, and expensive cards we graded during the month. Value alone will not be enough to make the list. We want to highlight cards that collectors rarely get to see. These blogs will contain sports as well as TCG. With that said, let's get going!
10. 2003-04 Bowman #123 Lebron James RC DSG 9.5 Mint+ $500
While not the most sought after iteration of a Lebron James rookie card it is certainly a great one. Graded at DSG 9.5, it certainly is in great condition. Regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, this is a card all collectors would love to have in their collection. With a limited time left in his storied career this card has the potential to grow in value.
9. 1999 Pokemon Base Set Charizard #4 DSG 8.5 NM/MINT $725
A card that defined a generation of new collectors. Perhaps the most recognizable card in the Pokemon world. Charizard was part of the original base set released in the english version of Pokemon. The top chase card in the set, still sought after almost thirty years later. This Charizard graded a DSG 8.5 and is in great condition for its time.
8. 2025 Pokemon Prismatic Evolutions Umbreon EX SIR #161 DSG 9.5 Mint+ $2000
One of the biggest chase cards in recent years, the Umbreon EX Special Illustration Rare is a beauty! With a pull rate of only .07%, it would cost roughly $22,334 to guarantee pulling this card. With current quality control on current english pokemon sets the Gem rate is much lower. This card graded a DSG 9.5 Mint+. Although the raw price of these has dropped recently, Gems and Mint+ continue to rise in value.
7. 2025 MTG Final Fantasy Traveling Chocobo Neon Yellow Ink #551A DSG 9.5 Mint+ $2000
The Tale of the Traveling Chocobo. The big Magic The Gathering release of summer was the Final Fantasy Collectors Set. The chase of the product was the Golden Chocobo but there were also five iterations of neon ink mythic rare Traveling Chocobos. With the odds of pulling one of these cards sitting at around 1 – 2.5% or 1-40 collectors boxes, these cards are extremely rare. This one was sharp and graded a DSG 9.5
6. 2021-22 One and One Stephen Curry #3 Downtown DSG 9.5 Mint+ $2800
One of the best Stephen Curry Downtown cards in existence. This card is a masterpiece of artistic design, celebrating the legendary Golden State Warriors point guard. With a nod to the city’s deep-rooted Asian-American Culture, the background tells a cultural and geographic story of the Bay Area. Graded a DSG 9.5 Mint +, this is a card every collector would love to have.
5. 2023-24 Immaculate Collection Abdul-Jabbar – Antetokounmpo Dual Autographs Gold 5/10 DSG 9.5 Mint+ $3000

2. 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan RC #57 DSG 8 NM/Mint $8000
Perhaps the most iconic and recognizable card in the hobby. Sought after by every collector both national and international.
